Preparing for the summer heat starts now.
For our neighbours experiencing homelessness, there’s no break from the heat during the summer months. They risk dehydration, heat stroke, and other life-threatening conditions. Finding shade, clean water, and safe food becomes a daily challenge.
“I was so thirsty…I couldn’t swallow, I could barely breathe. I was diagnosed with heat stroke.” says Ed.
That’s why Union Gospel Mission is out there every day, serving over 600 meals daily across Metro Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and Greater Victoria. Through their Mobile Mission vans, they reach people where they are, on the streets, in parks, and in overlooked places, making meaningful connections.
There’s an increased demand for meals and services during the summer months at Union Gospel Mission. And because donations often decrease in the summer, your generosity is needed!
Your gift of $5.45 will provide a meal and care for our neighbours in need. $165 provides a month of meals. How many meals can you provide today?
