Wednesday May 21 between 6am – 6pm you can provide the gift of hope! 

Hunger and homelessness won’t take a vacation this summer. BC summers are beautiful, but there’s no “nice” time of year for our neighbors to experience homelessness.  During the warmer months, our homeless neighbours are at risk of sun burn, dehydration, heat stroke, and other life-threatening health conditions. Finding clean and cold water and food that isn’t spoiled is near impossible.  

“To find clean water, I had to drink it out of a hose. I felt like the scum of the Earth,” says Kristy. 

The demand for meals and services at Union Gospel Mission continue to increase as more and more individuals and families are experiencing poverty, homelessness and addiction. 

And because donations often decrease in the summer, your generosity is needed! 

Your gift of $5.45 will provide a neighbour in need with a meal and care at UGM.  $165 will provide a meal a day for a month this summer.  How many meals can you provide?
