OWL Open House
OWL (Orphaned Wildlife) Rehabilitation Society is having their annual Open House on May 4th & 5th from 10am-3pm. This is the only time of year you can see behind the scenes of Canada’s largest bird of prey rehabilitation center! Learn about your favorite raptor, see the rehab process from examination to flight pens, you even get to see a rehabilitated bird of prey return to the wild at 1pm each day. We will have a raffle fundraiser, raptor meet and greet, and a talk about Bald Eagles from biologist David Hancock! The kids zone will have a fishing for ducks game, a plant station where you can take your own flower or vegetable home, and more! Go for a tour to see the many different species of raptors in British Columbia and tour the wildlife museum. Food will be available from the Tsawwassen Boundary Bay Lions Club, and Gypsytrunk Vegan food truck!
