Vancouver Folk Music Festival

The Vancouver Folk Music Festival 42nd Annual festival, July 19-21 in Jericho Beach Park.
The 2019 edition of the Vancouver Folk Music Festival will showcase an exciting, musically rich and diverse roster of artists as it heads into its fifth decade of presenting amazing music. These artists and groups promise an extraordinary celebration of music and culture in what is one of the most beautiful locations for an outdoor music festival anywhere. From July 19-21, 60 musical acts will play great music on five daytime and 2 evening stages, in a family friendly gathering of over 40,000 enthusiastic attendees at Jericho Beach Park.
The Vancouver Folk Music Festival has always taken pride in being inclusive, diverse, expansive in our definition of “folk” music, and this year’s line-up reflects that. We’ve programmed a festival that's truly global in spirit, broad and eclectic in range, with something for everyone.

In addition to the music, there are a wide range of Food and Artisan vendors, activities for Little Folks , and an adult beverage garden. The festival prides itself on its environmental and sustainability initiatives, and on making the festival accessible – and lots of fun. Our fabulous 1400 volunteers help to make our non-profit festival a success. Kids under 12 come to the Festival for free and we have discounted tickets for elders, students, and youth 12-18.
