High Valley, a brother duo with a modern twist on classic country music, will perform Friday, Aug. 17 as part of the Bank of the Pacific Grandstand Entertainment Series at the Northwest Washington Fair in Lynden.
Comprised of brothers Brad and Curtis Rempel, High Valley will start playing at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 17. Grandstand seats will be free, but preferred seats will be available to the public for $20 apiece beginning at 9 a.m. April 19. The show tickets don’t include gate admission for the fair, which is required. People wishing to buy tickets before they are offered to the public may join Friends of the Fair by registering for free.
“The Rempel brothers fuse tradition with wide-eyed musical exploration, staying true to their family-first value system and celebrating resilient positivity,” said Jim Baron, general manager of the Northwest Washington Fair.
Growing up in the small, remote Canadian town of La Crete, Alberta, the Rempel brothers moved to Nashville six years ago. Since then, High Valley has scored six Top 10 songs, played to 15,000-seat arenas opening for Shania Twain and earned multiple awards show wins – including Canadian CMA Group of the Year. High Valley also has amassed more than 43 million song streams worldwide – including 22 million for their first single, “Make You Mine.”
Tickets for the High Valley performance can be purchased starting April 19 online, at the fair office, 1775 Front St., Lynden, and by phone at (360) 354-4111. VIP packages also are available for each performance. The 2018 Northwest Washington Fair will be presented Aug. 13-18.
