The 29th Annual Scandinavian Midsummer Festival returns to the Scandinavian Community Centre in Burnaby from June 20–21, 2026. Hosted by the Scandinavian Community Centre Society and Nordic community groups, the festival celebrates Scandinavian culture with live music, traditional food, cultural displays, artisan vendors, family-friendly activities, a Viking Village, Finnish sauna exhibit, and so much more!
Visitors can also enjoy popular events like the wife-carrying contest, beer garden, and kids’ activities throughout the weekend.
The festival takes place at the Scandinavian Community Centre in Burnaby. Admission is $20 for an adult day pass on Saturday and $15 on Sunday. Youth under 16 are admitted free, and parking is free!
