JR Joe to the Rescue

BC Wheelchair Sports organizes local, national and international sport events as well as community outreach programs around the province of BC for people of all ages who use wheelchairs for sports. The sports they are involved in are wheelchair tennis, wheelchair athletics and wheelchair rugby. The truck would help them move wheelchairs, sporting equipment and tournament signage & supplies around efficiently. Wheelchairs and sporting equipment are bulky things to move around. They currently have just one van. I have volunteered with this organization and am amazed at how they manage to put it all together. If you would like to witness what they manage to pull off they are currently hosting the Canada Cup International Wheelchair Rugby Tournament at the Richmond Oval June 14-18, and will be hosting the Vancouver International Wheelchair Tennis Tournament at Kits Beach, July 18 -22nd!
