Brad Paisley Comedy Special on Netflix
Well-known in country music as a prankster, Brad Paisley will soon have his own comedy special. The country star’s Brad Paisley’s Comedy Rodeo will premiere on Netflix in mid-August.
The special titled Brad Paisley’s Comedy Rodeo, his debut comedy special is set to air on Netflix on August 15.
According to a press release, the hour-long comedy special will feature special guests and fellow comedians Nate Bargatze, John Heffron, Jon Reep, Sarah Tiana and Mike E. Winfield. Baywatch star David Hasselhoff (who also co-stars in Paisley’s “Last Time for Everything” video) and Reba McEntire will also make appearances in the special, which Paisley filmed during two shows at Zanies Comedy Club in Nashville as part of the Wild West Comedy Festival.
Brad appeared at the festival in 2016, where he hosted his own night during the annual comedy festival. He’s also showed off his quick wit every year for the last nine years co-hosting the CMA Awards with Carrie Underwood, where their natural comedy chemistry has made them a staple of the broadcast. They’ll both return to co- host for the tenth time in November.
Brad has been trying his hand at all sorts of new ventures recently. He recently released his eleventh studio album, Love and War, and accompanied the project with country music’s first-ever visual album. He’ll also be featured alongside Kacey Musgraves, Jamey Johnson, Jewel, Ruston Kelly and the late Chris Cornell as part of an album honoring the music of Johnny Cash. The project, called Johnny Cash Forever Words: The Music features poetry written by the late country icon set to music.
So far, no release date has been announced.
