Carly Pearce Opens Up About Recent Health Challenges
Carly Pearce is giving fans an update on her health.
The “Next Girl” singer shared her recent health challenges with fans this morning (May 30th) via social media.
Pearce will have to make some changes to some of her upcoming show dates. She got real with fans sharing she has been diagnosed with Pericarditis, which is a condition that can develop overtime causing “swelling and irritation of the thin, saclike tissue surrounding the heart.”. People with Pericarditis often get chest pain that can spread to the shoulder and or neck region.
Pearce has expressed her love of being on tour but has to put her health first and make changes for her well being. “If my shows look a little bit different, I just know it is because I have to keep my heart rate under control right now.” Pearce says about her diagnosis.
This will not effect her appearances on Tim McGraw’s “Standing Room Only Tour” or her upcoming “Hummingbird Tour” happening later this year, at this time. Pearce is just asking fans for s “little bit of grace” while navigating this tough time.
