Zac Brown Band Announces Residency At The Sphere In Las Vegas
The Zac Brown Band are headed to Vegas!
Brown shared the exciting news on Theo Von’s podcast “This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von” last Tuesday (May 7th). The Zac Brown Band will have a residency at The Las Vegas Sphere in 2025. This makes them the first country group to play The Sphere.
The Sphere aka The MSG Sphere is an entertainment venue just east of the Las Vegas Strip. The project was announced by the Madison Square Garden company back in 2018 and opened in fall of 2023. On the inside of the sphere there is a 157-metre-wide screen wrapping around the venue in addition to the world’s largest concert-grade audio system, making for an unforgettable concert experience.
“It’s the greatest canvas ever created, and to be one of the first bands to go in there and do it — this is our masterpiece,” Brown said about the residency on Theo Von’s Podcast. Brown did his research on the venue and has experienced other shows at the Sphere like U2, Phish and Postcard from Earth by Darren Aronofsky.
“I’ve got a team put together for this thing, and it’s going to be the biggest spectacle we’ve ever done. I’m very excited. This puts us in another league.” Brown shared when asked about his plan for The Sphere residency.
