Eric Church Releases 10 Year Old Song “Standing Their Ground”

As we wait not so patiently for Eric Church to release his brand new song “Through My Ray Bans” we are blessed with a new/old song.

Written over 10 years ago, “Standing Their Ground” was never released on an album, although Eric once said he would put it on the next album if Hank Jr. didn’t record it.

It appeared ‘Live’ on the 61 Days In Church album, he’s played it at the Opry, but this is the first time the recorded version has surfaced. It’s a “demo” but it sounds like it could be on the radio right now.

The original video was taken down, but maybe we’ll see an official release soon. In the meantime, enjoy this performance from 2017!
