BC is Officially Taking on Ticket Scalping Bots!!

Too bad they didn’t have this going last week for the Luke Combs ticket announcement… Timing right?

The government announced new legislation that will ban the use of ticket bots and require secondary ticket sellers like including StubHub and Ticketmaster to disclose more information about prices, terms and conditions.

“The bill will also impose a ban on mass ticket buying software otherwise known as bots that are used to jump the line and quickly buy up tickets when they go on sale,” said Solicitor General Mike Farnworth. Also, companies are now  forbidden from selling any tickets that come from bot software.
