Father’s Day can be difficult for one thing: WHAT DO WE GET DAD?! I find it tough to buy my Dad or my husband anything because they don’t really “want” anything. But one thing that they always appreciate is time. They just want to hang out and do something fun. Something they like to do, with you!
Make memories and maybe new traditions this Father’s Day!
Father’s Day at the “Nat”
When: Sunday, June 17 1pm to 3pm

What: A free Father’s Day event to warm up the field before the team gets on!
Website: http://dailyhive.com/vancouver/fathers-day-event-nat-bailey-stadium
Playing catch with Dad is a timeless activity. Why not play catch on the field from 1pm to 3pm at Nat Bailey Stadium. Bring your own ball and glove and bonus points if you come dressed in the team colours.
Go Fish!

Where: Various Lakes in the lower mainland, see website for participating communities
What: The B.C. Government waives the requirement for a basic freshwater license for June 15, 16 and 17, 2018 (some rules and regulations still apply). Fisheries and Oceans Canada also encourages B.C. residents to try their hand at tidal (saltwater) fishing by allowing license-free fishing (see website for restrictions).

This event is a great time to get re-acquainted with fishing, learn to fish or just an excuse to get out there and go fishing with Dad!
