Luke Combs Breaks Records with a MONSTER April
Luke Combs made history in April 2026 with his song “Days Like These,” which just hit #1 on country radio—a first for a solo artist with just a guitar. It’s also his 21st consecutive solo #1 and his 25th career #1 overall.
In another historic feat, Combs’ song “Sleepless in a Hotel Room” climbed to #2, making him the first artist in country radio’s 52-year history to hold the top two spots simultaneously. And the first to accomplish the feat twice, after “Fast Car” and “Love You Anyway” which both reached No’s. 1 and 2 together in 2023.
Now the Billboard Country Airplay chart, “Sleepless” has been #1 for three weeks, while “Days Like These” holds #2. Along with this, Combs set a new record for the most consecutive #1 hits on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.
In addition to his chart success, he just broke the all-time concert attendance record at Ohio Stadium, performing to 97,367 fans during his ‘My Kinda Saturday Night Tour’—surpassing Pink Floyd’s 1994 record by over 20,000.
Which has become the largest show of his career to date!
What a month April has been for him.
