CMA Announces First Round of Performers for the 59th Annual CMA Awards
The Country Music Association has revealed the first wave of performers set to take the stage at the 59th CMA Awards, and the lineup is already stacked.
Luke Combs will perform “Pray Hard,” his collaboration with BigXthaPlug — a pairing that’s sure to get people buzzing. Ella Langley will take on her latest single, “Choosin’ Texas.” (Can’t wait to see who she’s singing that one to LOL!) Megan Moroney is set to deliver her infectious tune “6 Months Later,” while Zach Top will showcase his classic country sound with “Guitar.”
Tucker Wetmore rounds out the announced lineup with the song that launched his career, “Wind Up Missing You.” Other confirmed performers include Shaboozey, Lainey Wilson, and Stephen Wilson Jr., with even more names expected to be revealed soon!
On the nominations front, it’s the ladies leading the pack — Lainey Wilson, Ella Langley, and Megan Moroney each scored six nods. Zach Top follows closely with five, while Cody Johnson and Riley Green earned four apiece. Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Kristian Bush, Carson Chamberlain, and Charlie Handsome each picked up three.
The 59th CMA Awards will air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 19, only on ABC.
