Ella Langley’s Cover Art For ‘Choosin’ Texas’ Might Be A Jab At Riley Green & Megan Moroney
Ella Langley is dropping her new single, “Choosin’ Texas”, this Friday — and oh my gosh, the cover art is full of tea.
If you’ve been keeping up, the biggest story of the year has been the alleged love triangle between Riley Green, Ella Langley, and Megan Moroney.
It all started with Ella and Riley’s duet, “You Look Like You Love Me”. Their on-stage chemistry had fans speculating there was something more than friendship between them. When asked about their relationship, both insisted they were just friends. Riley even joked that Ella was “too smart to date” him. Still, their body language — the eye contact, the flirty vibes — told a different story. But again, it was all fan speculation.
Then things heated up when Moroney entered the picture. Rumours started swirling after fans noticed Riley and Megan posting pictures from what looked like the same resort — at the same time. One post showed Riley in the water, and if you zoomed in on his sunglasses, it looked like a girl had taken the photo. You also can’t forget when someone posted a TikTok wearing a Riley Green shirt and Megan commented, “Need the shirt.”
With everything going on, it definitely seemed to take a toll on Ella. The on-stage chemistry cooled off, and you could tell she wasn’t exactly thrilled.
Following all that, Ella released “Never Met Anyone Like You” featuring HARDY — and fans were quick to clock it as a diss track aimed straight at Riley. The lyrics hint at betrayal: “you said it was us till the end, then you went and hooked up with my friend” And guess what? Ella and Megan were friends. They even walked the red carpet together at the 2024 CMA Awards. Yikes.
