From the largest stages to the silver screen, Wes Mack has established himself as an artistic force of many forms.
Fiercely creative, Mack’s prolific career across many mediums has yielded over 20 million streams as an artist and songwriter, 25 CCMA and BCCMA nominations, 15 directing projects, and more than 30 film and television roles.
Born in Calgary, Mack moved at a young age and has spent most of his life living in BC, where he broke into the music scene. After cutting his teeth playing bars and clubs around the province, he released his debut single independently. The song reached number 9 on the Billboard chart, and the video (directed by Mack) went on to earn two CCMA nominations for Video and Video Director of the Year. Mack wrote extensively and followed his debut with a series of top 10 singles, an international tour opening for Shania Twain (where they performed together on stage each night), and a CCMA Album of the Year nomination for his debut full-length album, ‘Edge of the Storm’. Mack also used this time to engage with various children’s medical charities, fueled by his own childhood heart surgery.
Mack also does a great deal of songwriting, and has landed 15 cuts over the past years with other artists that have amassed millions of streams, including top 10 hits for Tyler Joe Miller (‘Fighting’) and Tony Stevens (with the song, ‘Whiskey in Colorado’, that earned Mack a Songwriter of the Year nomination at the 2024 CCMA Awards and a win at the 2025 BCCMA Awards).
Mack currently lives in a small BC mountain town of 750 people, where he continues to create. He is passionate about making music, film and spending time in nature.
