New Music from Riley Green, Sacha, Ashley Cooke & More
Fridays are the best day of the week—not just because the work week is over, but because it’s the day new music drops! So, who released what?
Well, Riley Green announced yesterday that he’d be surprising us with an acoustic project and YES HE DID!
At midnight, he released the Midtown Sessions EP, featuring fan favourites like “Worst Way,” “Change My Mind,” and “Jesus Saves,” plus a brand-new track, “Bartender in Destin.” He also included a cover of Tim McGraw’s “Cowboy in Me.”
If you’ve ever been to a Riley Green concert, you know how much he loves playing acoustic—so it was about time he put out a project dedicated to it!
Canadian artist Sacha dropped a deluxe version of her album, “Woman in the Mirror,” which includes a brand-new duet with Restless Road, “Shooting Star,” along with two new versions of “Hey Mom I Made It”—a piano version and a stripped-back rendition.
And after much anticipation, Dasha and Ashley Cooke finally gave fans what they’ve been asking for. Dasha dropped, “Oh, Anna!”—a heartfelt song she wrote for her younger self.
While Ashley released, “The Hell You Are,”— a track that calls out people whose actions don’t match their words. It’s been gaining serious traction on TikTok and quickly becoming a fan favourite. I guess a lot of people can relate to this one… same here.
Two more standout releases: Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton teamed up for their first-ever duet, “A Song to Sing,” and Ella Langley joined Noah Cyrus on “Way of the World,” featured on Noah’s new album, “I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME.”
And two artists to keep an eye on down in Nashville: Riley Roth, with “Can You Hear Me From Heaven”—a tearjerker if you’ve ever experienced loss—and Greylan James, with his new release “Water At A Wedding.” If his name sounds familiar, it’s because he’s the songwriter behind some big hits, including Jordan Davis’s “Next Thing You Know” and Kenny Chesney’s “Happy Does,” just to name a few!
