Zach Bryan & Beyoncé Lead 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards Nominations

The 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards Nominations are out!
The list of nominee’s for the award show dropped last week (August 14th). Zach Bryan leads with most nominations at this year’s award show. Following him for most nominations are Beyoncé, Kacey Musgraves, Shaboozey, Morgan Wallen, and Luke Combs.
The award show initially launched just last year in September of 2023. Since then Country music popularity has risen and many new categories have been added to the show. The new categories include: female song, male song, group / duo song, cover song, new artist song and storyteller song.
Last year Jelly Roll came out as the biggest winner of the night with four awards, followed by Morgan Wallen with three. The show also honoured Toby Keith with awarding the late country legend the Country Icon Award. He was chosen for the award just a few months before his passing.
This year Shania Twain is set to host the award show. The show will air live across NBC and Peacock on September 26th at 5pm PST. The show will take place at the iconic Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
