Jelly Roll Joins Season 22 of American Idol

Jelly Roll is the latest star to be a guest mentor on American Idol.
The country star has joined season 22 of American Idol for one episode. The special episode is set to be filmed at Aulani: A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii. American Idol judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Bryan will be judging the contestants from the beach after they get guidance from Jelly Roll.
He and American Idol announced he will be taking on the mentorship role via Instagram in a joint post on Tuesday (Feb 6th).

This is not the first time the โSon of a Sinnerโ singer has been on the singing competition show. Jelly Roll appeared on the American Idol finale with collaborator Lainey Wilson, and performed their hit โSave meโ in 2023. In addition to that he also performed his hit โNeed A Favourโ with American Idol contestant Oliver Steele.
There is no word on when Jelly Rollโs episode will air, but Season 22 of American Idol premiers February 18th at 8pm PST.
