If you are unfamiliar with what happened with Elle King and Opry Goes Dolly… Here’s a recap:
“Ex’s & Oh’s” singer was one of the many performers at Opry goes Dolly, a special night at Ryman Auditorium honoring Dolly Parton on her 78th birthday. Though the legend herself Dolly Parton did not make an appearance the night was full of guest artists performing their favourite Dolly songs.
King approached the stage visibly drunk. The artist attempted to sing Dolly’s song “Marry Me” but proceeded to forget the lyrics and tell the audience she was “f–king hammered”.
