Lulu Island Winery is a one-of-a-kind experience in Richmond that brings the indulgence and warmth of wine country much closer to the city.
In 2020 when the pandemic began, they started distilling their grapes into an eco-friendly and 100% natural Health Canada Approved hand sanitizer. They donated the sanitizer to Senior Services Society, SafeCare B.C., the Richmond Food Bank Society, and the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
In 2021 they began hosting local artisan markets, waived vendor fees to ensure the small local businesses had access to the opportunity. Following suit this year in 2022, they have built a platform for local musicians to play at events and created a monthly local music night to support local musicians.
