With your help, Amplify Vancouver is showcasing Local businesses all over the Lower Mainland who are amping up their neighbourhood!
Big Joy Barber and Salon is a non-gendered alternative to the average barber experiences, will all the amenities and services of a salon. Every quarter, they donate 1% of the shop sales to 3 different local organizations, they strive to support those that work in the Downtown Eastside, are Indigenous-led/focused, LGTBQ+, anti-poverty, sex work positive, and more. They host a sliding scale, and a pay what you can cut night once a month. They are also part of the community working to offer accessible haircuts to people in the neighbourhood who may not be able to regularly access them.
