Nelson the Seagull Café is a family-run café and sourdough bakery serving freshly baked breads and locally roasted coffee. They are regular supporters of the Vancouver community, having started up their Suspended Coffee program which grants customers the ability to purchase a coffee in advance for someone who may be unable to afford one. They donate day-old baked goods to the Vancouver Women’s Health Collective and redirect surplus products to those in need via the Vancouver Food Runners. They have also worked with Just Potters which creates custom pottery ware, providing employment for people facing barriers to work.
