Little Sister’s Book & Art Emporium is a queer shop with 38 years of history in the Vancouver queer community. Built by gay rights activists and anchored in the heart of Davie Village. They are avid supporters of the LOUD Foundation, partnering in the creation of two scholarship funds: the Little Sister’s Bookstore Scholarship and the Jim Deva Memorial Scholarship – named after one of the store’s late founders. They have been instrumental in legal battles up to the Supreme Court of Canada, championing the right for LBTQ2S+ literature to exist without fear of seizure.
