BC parks camping reservations open May 25

BC Parks has already re-opened some provincial and marine parks, and they will be accepting campground reservations starting tomorrow, May 25, right at 7 am through Discover Camping.

Set your alarm so you don’t miss out on booking your favourite campsite!

According to BC Parks’ Instagram post, BC residents will be given first dibs for this year’s camping season.  Non-residents who already have reservations should get in touch with the call centre before June 15 to get a full refund.  BC Parks also mentions that if non-residents make reservations on May 25 or after that date, they could “be subject to immediate cancellation.”

For a smoother booking process, they’re suggesting to have your Discover Camping login info handy, your “preferred campsite numbers, and a method of payment” ready to go.

Discover Camping’s online reservation system and call centre will be available to accept new reservations beginning May 25 at 7:00 am PT. ⁠ ⁠ When the system opens on May 25, visitors will be able to book reservations for arrival dates up to July 25.⁠ ⁠ In support of staying local and avoiding unnecessary travel, BC residents will be given preferential access for the 2020 camping season. Non-BC residents with existing reservations should contact the call centre prior to June 15 to receive a full refund.
