Tim McGraw re-recorded “Don’t Take The Girl” with Blanco Brown

Tim McGraw released a new video of “Don’t Take The Girl,” but this time, with a duet partner Blanco Brown – who’s best known for his work with Pitbull and Chris Brown, as well as his hit single, “The Git Up.” The country veteran reached out to Blanco Brown after learning his story.

In the video the two swap lines and at the end, Blanco tells Tim how the song literally changed his life and helped him “not to make his street circumstances, a reality.” Blanco says the song lyrics changed his life. “This song is so deep and full of purpose. I decided to make my life full of purpose.”

“Don’t Take The Girl” was Tim’s first #1 song, 25 years ago.
