A clumsy weekend for Kenny Chesney and Blake Shelton
Kenny Chesney seems to have injured himself during his concert on Saturday (July 14th) at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, but it didn’t keep him from finishing the show. According to The Kansas City Star, while bouncing across the expansive stage that housed a large band and three massive video screens displaying live and prerecorded footage, he appeared to tweak a knee or ankle.

Rather than leaving the stage, Kenny DID finish the show, although he was a lot less mobile than usual. He periodically doubled over in pain and hobbled about in a small radius at the end of the stage’s walkway for the last hour of the show. No official explanation for the injury has been provided yet.
Blake Shelton ALSO took a little tumble at a concert in Oregon on Saturday night. The video footage shows him tripping over something before falling on the stage. He got up and continued the show. Of course he tweeted about the incident saying, “Please. I have to see it. And yes, I had been drinking. A lot.”
That’s it!!! I wish there was a closer one!!! https://t.co/R3dc9iH4A6

When a fan criticized Blake for his “drinking” comment, he responded, “Oh I’m sorry ma’am… This account is meant for people who actually have a sense of humor.. We’re not accepting cry baby tweets today.. Maybe try again tomorrow!”
