A Carrie Underwood Update
Carrie Underwood gave fans an update on her health, five months after falling on the steps outside of her home where she suffered multiple injuries including a broken wrist and damage to her face that resulted in 40 to 50 stitches. On her website on Tuesday, she said that she’s been healing from the accident. “Physically, I’m doing pretty darn good these days!”.

While Carrie has been keeping selfies and photos of herself to a minimum since the accident, last week she shared this photo as she revealed she was back in the studio.

Carrie Underwood is set to make her move back into the country music spotlight by returning to the stage at the upcoming 53rd Annual ACM Awards.
Carrie is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year as well as Vocal Event of the Year for “The Fighter” with Keith Urban.
Previously announced ACM Awards performers include Lauren Alaina, Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Kelly Clarkson, Florida Georgia Line, Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Midland, Maren Morris, Jon Pardi, Bebe Rexha, Thomas Rhett, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and Brett Young.
Carrie Underwood has also hinted at releasing a new song on TOMORROW, April 11, via her Instagram. With no clues as to what the song inspiration is except for the vibrant hues overshadowing a fierce look at one of Underwood’s eyes, fans will anxiously await what sound that she goes for during the next step of her musical sound.
The 53rd ACM Awards will air live from Las Vegas this Sunday, April 15, at 8 p.m. on the CBS.
