Lauren Alaina, Midland and Brett Young are all early winners at next month’s ACM Awards
Lauren Alaina, Midland and Brett Young are all early winners at next month’s ACM Awards taking home New Female Vocalist, New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year, and New Male Vocalist of the Year. The winners received a surprise phone call from 53rd ACM Awards host Reba McEntire sharing the good news.
An emotional Lauren was on her tour bus getting ready for a show in Kentucky when she got the call from Reba.
Brett said, “I was blown away when I got the call from Reba. Winning an ACM Award is something every Country artist dreams about. It’s an absolute honor to receive this award in a category of incredible artists, and I’m so thankful to the ACM and my fans for making this a reality.”
The guys from Midland said “When @reba calls…you answer! We’re honored to have won @acmawards Best New Vocal Group, thanks y’all for the support!”
Lauren, Midland, and Brett have also all been added as performers on the ACM Awards, which will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 15th at 8 p.m. on CBS.
