Academy of Country Music Awards nominations are out

Chris Stapleton and Thomas Rhett are the top nominees at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards, it was announced this morning (Thursday, March 1st) by Reba McEntire during CBS This Morning. Chris leads with eight nominations, including Entertainer and Album of the Year, followed by Thomas with six noms, among them Male Vocalist and Album of the Year.

The ACM Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 15th on CBS beginning at 8 p.m. ET. Reba returns to host the show for the 15th time.
