I’ve never been on a double decker bus. I would like to go on a double decker bus. It might happen.
TransLink will test two double-decker buses this fall to see if they are a good fit for the Metro Vancouver area.
According to a report from CEO Kevin Desmond, TransLink expects to receive the buses from manufacturer Alexander Dennis in about a month, at no charge.
The buses will be based out of the Richmond Transit Centre and piloted for two months on three highway routes: the 351 between Crescent Beach and Richmond, the 354 between White Rock and Richmond, and the 555 between Langley and Coquitlam.
