Why do the Vancouver Giants want to look like Don Cherry?
The Vancouver Langley Giants have settled nicely into their new LEC home, where locals love ’em. So why would they risk alienating fans by going out of their way to look like…Don Cherry??
The Giants will wear special Don Cherry themed jerseys for their Saturday night game against the Tri-City Americans. As part of the WHL Suits Up with Don Cherry to Promote Organ Donation, the jerseys will be autographed and available for online auction. All proceeds will go to the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
You can bid on jerseys right now until Tuesday at noon.
“You don’t have to look far to see how many people have been positively affected by organ donation and we’re very excited to do our part to help raise funds and awareness towards the Kidney Foundation of Canada,” said Giants Senior Vice President, Dale Saip.
