Victoria Day is coming up this weekend, otherwise known as May Long and for once in a very, very long time the sun will actually be making an appearance here in the Lower Mainland. We normally see rain for this weekend so it’s a great chance to get out there and enjoy the rare sunshine we are expected to have. Personally I’m raring to get out. I feel like I’ve been cooped up for far too long. I want to do all the things… hit the beach, plan a picnic, maybe a hike or two and get out for a little romantic getaway… hmm that might be a tad ambitious but you catch my drift.
If you’re sticking around town there are a few ways you can enjoy the holiday. Whether it’s at the Rodeo or Circus with your family, drinking some craft beer with friends or relaxing at the springs there are lots of opportunities to get out and have fun this weekend.
