Garth Brooks shared some concert news and details on The Anthology Part III, LIVE
Garth Brooks had a lot of news to share during a press conference at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville yesterday (Wednesday, October 17th), not the least of which are his plans to head out on a three-year tour of stadiums for the first time in his career. Is it too early to start getting our hopes up for a Vancouver show??
For now, the first two stops on the tour will be State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona and The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Concert dates and ticket on-sale information will be announced soon, but Garth told reporters that five cities will be on sale before Christmas.
The stadium tour will feature an all new stage and new band members. The idea for the tour sprung from Garth’s upcoming concert at Notre Dame Stadium, the venue’s first-ever concert. The sold-out show which takes place on October 20th, will now be a televised event: Garth: Live from Notre Dame! will air on December 2nd at 8 PM on CBS.
Garth’s new The Anthology Part III, LIVE, will be released on November 20th. The five-CD package includes his new live album, Triple Live.
